VBS Day 1

On August 2, we started VBS. We had 61 kids come. We have about 40 seats in our church. Dad added a few more chairs and told some kids to squish together. I was in a row with 3 chairs. Mom said me and my brothers and sisters should sit in one row. We were squished.
Anyway, it was hot! We were in a building with no airconditioning (we had air conditioning but it was in the other room.), and we were in a building filled with kids, & workers. So hot+hot+hot= HOT!!!
After the songs, the kids seperated. The little kids 5-8 got to go to the other room (LUCKY LUCKY). The older kids 9-12 stayed in the hottest room in the church. We had a coloring contest which would be judged later. Dad would give prizes for 1st,
2nd,and honorable mentions.




The lesson was about God creating the world. Dad had some trouble with the order of the days. So during the games (which were about the lesson), dad had to look in the Bible to see what God created on which day. He kept getting day 2,3,4,and 5 mixed up. So after dad learned today's lesson we started playing the games.
