Well, sorry I haven't written in a while... but with Christmas and all I guess I just forgot.
Anyway, in January not much happened except for dad's 39th b-day, and going to NFL.com to see if the Kansas City Chiefs won any games. The Chiefs won the AFC west but lost their wild card to the Ravens. In early January, the whole family went to Timisoara. Everyone except me and Spencer. I had stomach flu so I stayed home. Spencer stayed to keep me company. That's an easy job for him. He's the greatest entertainer I know (other than mom and dad of course). We watched football all morning, took care of the fires, and had to make ourselves lunch. Now I realize that making sandwhiches and warming up leftover soup is for the women to do. Us men, we just enjoy the meals and clear off the table when we're done. Why you might ask...because I couldn't get the soup warmed up for the life of me. It took me like 25 minutes just to warm up the soup.
February
Also considered 'the most boring month of them all'. While we waited for the snow, ice, mud, and gunk to go away we stayed inside and got bored. On the Monday after the Super Bowl, we downloaded the game and watched it. Everyone cheered for Green Bay (even though I hoped a little that the Steelers would win because Miss Sarah said she would have a grouchy attitude if they lost). Green Bay won but the lady who sang the national anthem didn't make me feel patriotic. It was the WORST national anthem I heard in my short life. I could even sing better than that! She didn't get the words right and she sang a different tune at the end.
It started warming up a little, though we couldn't play football, and there was snow and junk around the goal. So we played 'Football on the Trampoline' a game we made up. Three people play ordinary football, but two are on offense and pass the ball back and forth without allowing the defensive dude to get the football. If the defense gets the football, the offensive guy who allowed the turnover gets to be defense. We're always getting hurt, but we don't mind. We help each other up, and keep on playing. We always pretend we're NFL stars.
So long!
